Neil Beck is the Assistant U.S. Trade Representative (AUSTR) for WTO and Multilateral Affairs. In this role, he oversees USTR’s work on trade-related issues in the G7, G20, OECD, and the WTO. He also oversees work on various trade-related disciplines, including customs and trade facilitation, economic security, good regulatory practices, government procurement, rules of origin, state-owned enterprises, subsidies, technical barriers to trade, and trade remedies. Prior to becoming AUSTR, he served as Deputy Assistant U.S.

WASHINGTON – Today, the Office of the United States Trade Representative announced a public comment process to consider proposed modifications to certain aspects of Annexes III and IV in the action (90 Fed. Reg. 17114, April 23, 2025) in the Section 301 Investigation of China’s Targeting of the Maritime, Logistics, and Shipbuilding Sectors for Dominance. The deadline for submission of comments is July 7, 2025.
